A Celebration with Purpose
Black Romance Book Fest is more than an annual literary event. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we’re creating year-round impact by advancing literacy, promoting wellness, strengthening communities, and expanding opportunities through the transformative power of books.
What began as a sold-out inaugural festival has grown into the nation’s largest celebration of Black books, welcoming more than 3,800 attendees, 230+ authors, 17 million+ creator reach, and generating more than $600,000 in book sales in 2026 alone. Beyond festival weekend, our work continues through literacy initiatives, scholarships, inclusive reading programs, and community partnerships that expand access to books and invest in future generations. This past year, we saw readers, authors, and industry professionals come together in a way that was unforgettable. 1,600+ readers showed up with excitement, intention, and love for Black literature. Books sold out. Lines wrapped around the building. Stories were shared, memories were made, and something powerful took root. That momentum continues to grow. The need is clear. The audience is present. The impact is lasting.
